Happy New Year

well on this very very last day of 2011 I am thinking back at all that has happened. Such an awesome year.

of course the highlight was mr Christopher making his entrance. We've enjoying things like traveling to Buffalo on our weekend shopping trip. A last minute border crossing at Watertown for some Dunkin donuts k cups! Made tonnes of new friends through Mommy Groups!

Countdown to Christmas!

No time to do a full update!! Christmas was perfect this year. The Kerr family was spoiled rotten. Thanks Santa.

Young Love

This photograph says it all. Last week (Dec 5th 2011) The Kerr and Fyke familys drove around seeking out the most spectacular Christmas lights in the Quinte area. AFter first driving around aimlessly trying to find 2 way radios at a reasonable price so we could communicate like they did in the 1950's :) :). We started our adventure in Franford at the park! Oh and of course after a much needed stop at Starbucks.

Playtime

Like when Sophia was first born decided to again spend sometime at the Belleville Early YEars center socializing with other new Moms.

Recently we started inviting some of our new friends that we met at the EYC/Family space over on Wednesday afternoons. Its been a great way to chat and socialize our sweet little babies. Oh and drink really really good coffee. ;0) Here are some quick pics of Christopher's EYC BFF's :) Now that I FINALLY have a new play/social area it feels much more inviting.

We look forward to growing up with Austin, Everett and Elizabeth.

Mommy Christmas photo shoot FAIL!

Well at least I can say I tried. I set it up so cute! Waited to use the morning sunshine beaming through the window. Bought the sweetest little Christmas P.J's. White backdrop. A few Christmassy props. Best Photoshop program money can buy....Needless to say my two favourite subjects to photograph did not like to sit still. Well one of them was o.k but the other, and I won't point fingers was less then cooperative. So much for cutesy Christmas cards this year folks! Next year Ill just invest in a pro to to the job.

With Christmas right around the corner we are busy shopping and decorating. I am in love my decor this year! Thanks to Pinterest my new favourite nursing in the middle of the night distraction. :)

Hello Winter!

YAYAYAYAYAYA

Well Mr Christopher dear, you are 8 months old and still not crawling. Meh! Maybe this month. Sophia is attending Nusury school a couple days a week. She just loves it and I am glad I took this leap with her. Trusting someone with my precious little bean pulls hard on my heart strings. She is already learning new songs! And she always comes home with paint on her clothes! An artist one day? maybe!

A couple weeks ago we attended my cousin Christophers and his beautful bride Kims' wedding in Cambridge. We had a B.L.A.S.T. There is nothing better then being around family. This side of my family is 90% intalian so the wedding just wasnt the one night! It was a celebration from Friday until Sunday. So much delicious food. The kids were spoiled with attention while Jason and took a little time to relax and drink. :)

This weekend we decided to spontaniouly take a little vacation south of the border for a little holiday shopping! Today we made our way around the famous Walden Galleria and then the Burlington Coat Factory, finally Target with a side stop at TGI Fridays for some lunch. We managed to score a sweet hotel via Hotwire.com. This site has never let us down. We recommended it to so many friends which has also been raved about.

We are hoping to do this again in the very near future.

Tomorrow I am hoping to hit some outlets. A few weeks back I spent a small fortune at my new favourite boys clothing store Tommy Hilfiger. Although there were some great buys I would like to find one down here. Less tax and maybe maybe maybe a great sale. Gotta dress my little man. :)

Crawling is overrated

My nickname for Christopher has been Mr. Mooners! Not sure exactly where this came from but it stuck! Jason still to this day refers to Sophia as "poop" Isn't that sweet. :) :) :) So like I said last year around this time that October is my absolute favourite month!! I love the leaves, baking, cooler weather, family dinners, and long drives. Last Friday The Kerr crew went to Grandpa Bradford for a 4 wheeler ride through the fields and captured a few shots. I am still playing with my camera and have a lot to learn about lighting etc. Practice practice practice.

I have been reading a lot of updates lately from my fellow March 2011 Mommies and noticing many are starting to scootch and crawl! Not my little ham. He has no desire to move. Just sits there like a bump on a log. ooohh I just luv my Mr Mooners. :)

Thursdays are becoming a lot of fun! i have met so many new Moms at the Belleville Early Years! Most of our babies are around the same age so its been fun. We are going to start meeting at STarbucks over the winter for late night latte's Can't wait!
